Where’s Lenin’s Head At?



Waaaaaay back in January 2005 (where does all this time go?), I posted our first recorded instance of Standing By A Statue, namely this classic of a headless Lenin. Where did Lenin’s head end up I hear you say? Well, the obvious answer of course is Statue Park, that graveyard of communist monuments near Budapest, as visited by friends Rich and Laura earlier on this year. And what a fine pair of Lenins they make too eh?! According to Great Uncle Wikipedia, there are plenty more Lenins out there in need of imitation – two down, some two hundred odd thousand million to go…
