Stood Up In Spain…

Even though I have approximately one hundred thousand statues from the Land of Oz to share, for the few weeks I’m going to post some photos from those fine folk who have sent me pics, and then have been rewarded by patiently waiting for them to be published for the last few months…

[Incidentally, if you do want to send me any statue standing photos then I’ve added an easier to find Email link just to the side of the site over there --->]

With sincere apologies to Hannah in particular for the long wait, but here at last is dad Matthew very much stood by his statue in Spain. The man is Ramón Rubial Cavia, a Spanish socialist leader, and he’s stood outside the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, in the Basque region of northern Spain.

As an aside, and because this website has some sort of vague travel aspect to it, I thought I’d point you in the direction of the New Seven Wonders website, where you can vote for the ‘new’ Seven Wonders of the World. Okay, so it’s a little bit of a cheesy looking venture, but the feedback and voting numbers have been absolutely huge all around the world, and you can’t argue with that. There are a few statues on the list as well!
