Feeling Crabby?

Tonight it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to long-time top friend Des, who has been resident in Hong Kong for the past ten years or so. This crabby moment came from a trip Des took to Hokkaido (Sapporo), in Japan, earlier on this year...

This fantastic specimen was stood outside a shop selling (wait for it….) crabs! Although it did also sell other assorted seafood famous of the region, all situated at the equally famous Nijo fish market. According to Des, the whole street is teaming with traders shoving free samples of whacking great big lumps of crab at you, the eating of which he was very happy to oblige!

This certainly is a most welcome addition to the site, and perches happily alongside the giant lobster in the archives. It also means we can cross another country off the list, so we get ever nearer to showing a statue from every country in the world. Yeah right...

Why Statue John, it's a fantastic "imitation crab" (couldn't resist)! Don't give up on the dream - someday you WILL have a sample from every country. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither were its statues! You can't lose hope with such fantastic work rolling in.
