One more Big Thing to share with you, but this one is a bit strange in that it’s located in New Zealand, and so it’s not an official Aussie Big Thing. But hey, we can hardly keep a Big Apple off the site eh? Mr Poll gives it his best apple-ly grin earlier on this year. We’ll return to the more normal pursuit of standing by statues next week I promise…
In other statue news, it would appear that a new statue of Andy Capp (newspaper cartoon character) has been erected. Can someone please imitate this and send it in as soon as possible please...

I really like the Big Apple statue, S. John. It's really appropriate for people I know know as we will NOT buy fruit from icky places (Chile, Mexico, etc) but will buy apples from New Zealand (we know where they've been!!). Great new posts!! Keep it up!
