Many thanks to April for sending in tonight’s statue, taken on a trip to Riga in Latvia earlier on this year (which means another country to add to the statue tally!). We love this picture here at statue towers as it features a Take Your Statue by the Hand style, one that we haven’t seen since February 2005…
Riga is a fantastic city, as illustrated by some of April’s other photos. Indeed I highly recommend all of the capital cities in the Baltic States, namely Vilnius in Lithuania and Tallinn in Estonia. Some wonderful scenery, beautiful ‘toy town’ architecture, and some highly amusing karaoke exploits from our trip a few years ago, as illustrated in fine style by this legendary shot of infamous blogger Mr SwissToni!
