This evening we take a slight detour from our trip around Boston to once again hail Mrs Mac, star of a number of pictures published in early June sometime…
This gives me an excuse to post another statue from my hometown of Oxford. Here, Mrs Mac is in some deep thought as she tackles a statue of John Hunter at the Natural History Museum here in the Ox. Aunty Wikipedia reveals that Mr Hunter was a famous surgeon and renowned anatomist from the 18th century. The museum is an interesting place to take a walk around and has a quality selection of fossils!
I’ve got a few more missions planned to stand by statues in Oxford, of which there are many, so watch this space …
I was kind of tempted to name this post Return of the Mac, but that would have been way to cheesy, so have opted for an alternative song title instead.
