A Longhorned Legend...
We continue our submissions from esteemed visitors this week with this mighty fine piece of Stand By Your Statue action. Thank you to Shana for sending in this great photo of her Mom stood by the mascot of the University of Texas – a longhorn bull!
I feel this could signal the start of quite a few Stand By Your Horned Animals being posted over the next few days……keep watching this space……
Aren't animals great :-)

Bring out the Ox!
And just what the hell do you think you're doing blogging until half one in the morning?
Attack of insomnia and so decide to get up and post a blog of a longhair bull at half one in the morning! Not entirely normal behaviour I grant you.
I like to think it was worth it though....my favourite picture so far.
It's not a very manly bull, is it? And it's a bit skinny as well. I mean, I'm not knocking it - it has a magnificent set of horns, after all - it's just that if you are going to sculpt a bull, wouldn't you make it a bit more impressive (see wall street bull posting somewhere below)? You'd have thought that the University of Texas of all places would have opted for the biggest f*ck-off bull they could get away with. 10 foot high. Breathing fire. Enormous hat. That kind of thing.
