Coober Pedy is such a special place that it in fact houses TWO Aussie Big Things. Sticking with the mining theme, this is the Big Winch. It’s perched on top of a hill, overlooking the town. It was quite a struggle climbing up there in 50 degree heat whilst being attacked by thousands of pesky bush flies, but when there’s a big thing that needs mimicking, then its gotta be done!
