Livingstone Poll...

Its been nearly two years now of writing about folks standing by and imitating the statues of the world, and finally I have located a guest editor. So, click here to read the expert opinion of Mr Poll Star.

Okay, so not much was actually done in the way of editing there! The statue (replicated above) is the Livingstone Memorial, which is located at Victoria Falls, and celebrates the great African explorer, David Livingstone, who named the waterfalls after Queen Victoria. I believe the monument is on the Zambian side, so that is another country off the list…

A fantastic imitation it has to be said, what with a satchel and walking stick being incorporated by a camera case and a twig. Bit of a dodgy hairstyle mind.

Keep having top travels and Standing By Statues Mr Poll Star. I'm sure there'll be more from our intrepid reporter in the future...

On the Zim side I'm afraid for your stats. Very few statues in Africa, hoping for more in Oz.

Bah, although I thought i'd seen it mentioned on the tinternet somewhere, at the end of the day it was a 50:50 guess!

Still, am happy to keep mention of Zimbabwe to the comments section of this blog to be honest..
