Ashes Eve Part Two…

I seem to recall that following a post I made just over a year ago with regards to one of sporting’s greatest rivalries, namely England versus Australia at cricket, England went on to win the Ashes for the first time in around nineteen years!

I am therefore posting about the beautiful game again in the vague hope that victory was all down to some sort of bizarre statue influence. Later on this evening England play the Aussies once again, this time in their own backyard. We haven’t won over there since 1986/87, so, once again, c’mon England!

The statue above is a large Shane Warne, one of the greatest cricketers of all time, who plays for Australia. It is pretty much guaranteed that he will cause the English maximum damage once again over the next six weeks. Standing alongside Warney are a bunch of builders, which is nice.
