Grouse Mountain Manoeuvres…
Time for another update from our sabbaticaller Sarah this evening, taken from her trip to Canada earlier on this year. These photos were taken at Grouse Mountain, which is also known as the ‘Peak of Vancouver’ (and is situated on the west coast of Canada). Apparently the mountain area is quite a habitat for bears and wolves, hence these wood carvings of a bear and a wolf! They were carved using chainsaws apparently…
(following on from his Jesper bear a few weeks ago, methinks that Sarah’s travelling buddy Rob is quite the natural when it comes to imitating the animal monuments of the world, as the evidence below further suggests!)
