A Mysterious Mexican Monument...
With huge amounts of thanks to Lee Follweiler this evening, who just over a month ago sent me an email with the heading ‘I think your website is very cool’. Fantastic! Flattery will get you absolutely everywhere here at statue towers ;-)
Big thanks also for sending me some statue snaps from Mexico, not quite the first from the country to be published here, but great to add to the collection nonetheless. The above picture of Lee, Joyce and a huge carved snake of stone were taken at Chichén Itzá, an ancient Mayan ruins found in the Yucatan province. It sounds like a pretty fascinating place to visit it has to be said.
