A Gigantic Gobbler...
Have you ever seen a finer statue in your life I ask you?!
Yep, it’s a huge whopping great turkey – the largest in the world apparently. Many thanks to Lynne Wilson for sending the photo in (seen here stood by her giant turkey alongside her dad). The big bird stands proudly on top of a hill overlooking the town of Frazee in the farming state of Minnesota in the US.
This big turkey, known as “Big Tom” to the locals, is actually the second such huge great turkey statue to be found at Frazee, as the first Big Tom burnt to the ground in a calamitous accident involving a blowtorch!

I'll be interested to see what kind of attention you get from the search engines with an expression like "gigantic gobbler" on your site.
"Have you ever seen a finer statue in your life I ask you?!"
Yes.
But not a funnier one. Nice blog.
MN is a mecca for massive monuments! Big Blue, the ox; World's Largest Pelican, a few different Paul Bunyans... one could plan a huge vacation around photographing MN statues!
I am the person who sent the turkey pic and just to let you know "girlonaglide", my hubbie and I actually DO plan some of our vacations around Minnesota statues! It's quite the awesome adventure for us!
wow! thats a big turkey. it looks like it could eat you.

Cool image! And really, as asked John in first comment, "what kind of attention you get from the search engines with an expression like "gigantic gobbler" on your site" ?! :)
